We have probably all seen pictures of Bill at signing events, etc. in the "Bill & Me" section of the Harbour Lights website. Nancy also goes on the road to greet the extended family of Harbour Lights collectors.

This Thread is a place to post your experiences and pictures of Nancy as she travels the Harbour Lights Highway.

So join in and share them here with everyone.

I thought that I would kick this new thread off with a picture from Nancy's visit to MARVEL SHOP (New London, CT) on April 17, 1999.

This picture shows Gail Grillo (owner) and Nancy (seated) with (standing l to r), unidentified, Lorna & Bob McKeon (does Bob look like a trooper to you?), Ron & Mary Jane Foster (Ron has grown a beard since the reunion in Providence).

If anyone knows the unidentified man on the left please identify him. Thanks.

Ron

Looks like a great time! Like the beard, Ron!

The guy on the left? Isn't that 'Cigarette Smoking Man' from X-Files?

Hi Ron, ... The "unidentified man" is Bruce from Norton, Massachusetts. Unfortunately, I forgot Bruce's last name. From my conversation with him that day, I would say Bruce is an ardent HL Collector. I do know he has Internet access but I'm not sure if he is registered with this forum.

Is there something involved with the correlation between HLs and beards?
I've noticed that quite a few of the Legacy Wachos seem to have taken on the appearance of Bill Younger! Is that where the 'Bob' Younger sightings started? LOL

Tim, do you have a table that predicts the aging of days as a collector before the appearance of the beard? Or the number of HLs; or acquisition of Coquille River or Cape Hatteras; or 5 year Society member; or attendance at both Reunions????

I'll bet the Timster doesn't have a formula which correlates when a beard appears [I had one in my "younger" days (Oops, pardon the pun) long before Harbour Lights was a company].

Now, Tim could have a formula which correlates the "color" of the beard with collecting Harbour Lights (my beard has gotten gray since I started my "Yougner Days" (collecting Harbour Lights that is).

This is probably due to all the worrying and anxiety caused while trying to collect one of everything that Harbour Lights ever made or is about to make.

Actually, I heard somewhere that Nancy likes beards and I wanted to make an impression on her at the signing.

Ron,
Doesn't having a beard in your youngerdays "before HL"(bHL) then recently regrowing one "after HL" (aHL) kind of support my theory? (Timmer, I could use a little help here!)

See you in Portland,

Kat - you aren't the first one to say that I resemble that famous Bond fellow Sean. I don't make his kind of money but at least I can surround myself with lovely woman. And as for Jake's two cents worth I only have one thing to say, "Gloria, isn't it past his bedtime?"

Thanks for the compliments and humor friends but I would like some of you to post more pictures of Nancy & Friends here (sans any old guys). This was meant to be a post to get more of Nancy on this site.

Ron (alias John Connery, Sean Chidester, Ile B. Younger, look-alike)

Thanks Ron,

I'm sorry that I didn't think ahead last summer when I was in the El Cajon office of HL to have my picture taken with Nancy. She and Bill were both there that day. I was treated as if I had know them forever and Nancy was so gracious.
