Details on the Chicago Regional event are starting to become available. This regional event will happen the same weekend as the Navy Pier show, so you have 2 great reasons to join us! Of course, there will be a pre-reunion Connected Collector gathering giving everyone a chance to meet in person.

Here is the information so far:

Harbour Lights will be providing food at this regional, so it is especially important that you call in and let them know you are coming, and how many will be with you. Use the regular customer service number, 800-365-1219 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time Monday-Friday. Be sure to tell them it is for Chicago.

To gain admission to the Regional you will need to purchase a Cape St. George from a participating dealer. Very soon the list of participating dealers will be posted on the Chicago Regional page . Check back as updated participating dealer lists will be posted as will more information on the event.

This will be a fantastic time for all those able to attend. Many Wackos from across the country have already committed (a bad choice of words?) to join us in Chicago, and we hope that you will too. Need info on the Official Wacko Hotel?

As a special enticement, our very own Digger will be having a showing at the regional! Finally we will have the opportunity to enjoy his wonderful paintings in person. And, Maureen promises some other surprises and special happenings.

The list of supporting dealers has been added to the page about this event. Note that since dealers are participating from all over the midwest and not just the Great Lake States, the reference to this event is now the "Midwestern Regional Event".

Who is coming to this great weekend, a mini-reunion before the Baltimore reunion???

I'm thinking of making a dinner reservation for Saturday evening after the regional event, but don't want to do so if there is going to be enough food provided by Harbour Lights that we won't be hungry for dinner afterwards. Is anyone familiar with the regional events that have already been held and what they were like?

Frank - At the Southern California Regional, they served a big buffet dinner. If you're hungry afterwards, it will because you didn't want to be embarassed making a third trip to the buffet.

I was there and I can vouch for John, he didn't look a bit embarrassed. We ate real good in Anaheim. I am expecting them to do the same! He was a little red when he got one of those gold plated pewter thingamadoos!
