On Monday, after the regional, it was perfect weather to take the ferry to Block Island.

This is a photo of the North Block Island lighthouse as we were coming in on the ferry. If you take the hi-speed ferry, it comes in to the New Harbor by the Great Salt Pond for a good view of the north light.



We took a taxi tour around the island and then dropped off to hike out to the north light.



Southeast Block is under going some major renovations.

As John and I were walking out the gate from viewing Southeast Block, I noticed this red sign that is thanking several people for donations including the HL wackos (on the bottom right side of the sign).

Great photos Lorie. Glad to see the HL Wackos were mentioned on that sign in the last photo. That's a really nice touch.

Once again some great pictures. I've got to get out to see the North light one of these days.
