Since my local dealer went out of business I have been looking for the list of 2009 in-store events. The Harbourlights web site still is on 2008. Anyone seen or heard of west coast events coming up?

I don't have the powers to do it, but I expect this thread to be moved shortly to the Rumors forum.

But since no one else has responded to Buddha's questions, I thought I would.

Buddha, no list has been posted yet. It was supposed to be posted in February, but we're still waiting. Keep checking the forums often, it should be any day now.

Well Loon... I guess we are all still in the dark as to the "official" list as not only has the month of February, come and gone, but so has March!

Here's hoping for April 1st, and it would be nice if it wasn't an April Fools joke either...

I'm not sure if I'm going to make it to one the four Bill Younger signing events and I don't know where the regional is, so the list of the 10 non-Bill or Harry events would be nice so I can get an my order in.

I seems like all the stores know, just waiting for HL to say so.

If you just can't wait and apparently you can't, why don't you take last year's store event list and go from there.. More in likely a few of these will be the ones that have events this year.. If they wanted one last year they probably still do and without reps per say the events probably are going to be in stores that are still selling the product well. Most of them probably have 1-800 numbers so all you are out is a little time..

Don't mean to sound winey, and I can wait(maybe), just having fun picking this year store to buy from.

Last year I bought Loon Island from Bob S at the Long Island LC and in 2007 I bought Detroit River from the Bronze Lady of Orlando. The year prior I think it was Cape Annies.

I have already tried as many websites as possible from last years in-store locations.
Just don't want the store name, I want to know the event date.
Why buy from an October event store when you could buy from a May event store.

I would think if they know that they are having an event they might know when it's going to be held, at least the month..

While researching to see what stores will have an in-store event I came across this:

October 9th thru the 11th Harry Hine is at the Greak Lakes Lighthouse Festival and the Huron Lights Museum & Gift Shop for a Harbour Lights In-Store event.

Daniel, Probably the only event near you is going to be the Bronze Lady of Orlando Bill Younger Signing event.

June - Cape Annie's - MA
July - Bronze Lady of Orlando - FL (Bill)
October - Huron Muesem & Gift Shop - MI (Harry)

Maybe I missread info on Cape Annie's but I don't believe they are having a "Bill" event.

My definition of a Bill event = Bill is on location signing HLs and there is a drawing for a Gold piece.

Cape Annies is having a Non Artist In store event.. The following was a recent Tony C post..
As of now I believe there will be 5 Bill Events this year and Harry at Alpena updated that post a bit.

As I'm trying to locate all the store events, I'm putting Bill or Harry's name next to it. I put no name next to Cape Annie's event.

It was my understanding that the regional event will be Bill's 5th signing event this year.

I'm still trying to track down more events. I've been calling or emailing many stores and people. I know a few more locations, but don't have the dates yet.

Nope with the Regional that makes six events for Bill this year..

It would be nice to know when and where the events and the Regional are going to be!

Just got this info:
Collectors World Inc . will be having its annual IN STORE SIGNING EVENT for Harbour Lights on June 13th from noon till 3.00p.m. The special event piece will be Duxbury, Massachusetts and will retail for $68. It should be noted that the Duxbury model will be produced in a very limited quantity of only 500 pieces. In addition all pieces wiil be presigned by Bill Younger.Tony Constantino, Director of Sales of Harbour Lights will be in attendance to double sign any pieces that Collectors purchase or bring in.

Great find Hilary !!! I suspected Collectors World would have an event this year.

Paul, Thanks for letting us know there's another Bill event this year. Good to hear he has time for another event in his schedule. Must have just been added. Now I'm wondering if there is one less non-Bill event, or just an extra Bill event.

Nice to feel wanted. Kind of makes my feel all warm and fuzzy. Maybe there is hope for Moderatorville or Sainthood for me yet.

My first guess is in one of the three or four threads for the fundraiser. I hope I'm not the only one who is gonna take a stab at this.

I got an email from Ed Miller of Millers Lighthouse store in Virginia. Their having a June store event. No Bill or Harry at this one.
