The time for the Harbour Lights Regional Event in Orlando is from 11 AM to 1 PM. It will be held at the OMNI Rosen Hotel at 9840 International Drive.

I know the Tampa Bay Harbour Lights Club has chartered a bus and will be attending en masse.

If you'll be there next Saturday, August 19, please 'sign-in' below and let others know.

If you don't have Hatteras On The Move yet, give one of the participating dealers a call and put one on order. You can find a list of dealers at:

Well as a member of the Tampa Bay Club, who missed Bill because of a buisness trip, you know I'm chomping at the bit to go to Orlando. Just 6 more days...Just 6 more days....just 6 more.........

He sure will! In that way, it is just like a regular store event, only at the regional event the room is set up more conducive to signing the lighthouses. Stores tend to be kind of crowded especially around Bill, while at the regional events the tables are set up so that Bill moves to the collectors and their lights to be signed.

Harbour Lights did a wonderful job on the Orlando Regional Event. They chose a very nice hotel (elegant actually) to hold the event. David from HL was there and told me that more than 300 people attended. I left at 1:30 and Bill was still signing. Poor man is going to have to take a couple of aspirins tonight for his hand. There were lots of prizes (one couple won 3 limited editions -- I told them to make sure to buy a lottery ticket for today).

Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Bill even though it was a day late.

A good time was had by all! Thank you Harbour Lights.

I expect 600 at the Atlanta event Sunday. My projection is based on a doubling of attendance at each event so far:

75 Milwaukee
150 Anaheim
300 Orlando
??? Atlanta

If you're heading to Atlanta, better not be late. I think each event has 300 buttons.

We had a great time at the Orlando Regional today and the Tampa Bay HL Club was very fortunate to raise $495 toward the restoration of Anclote Key. That was just in raffle ticket money for the Sanibel GLOW that HL contributed for the cause. Tee shirt sales were also good and now lots more collectors are aware of the 'Re-Light the Light at Anclote Key' project.

Once again, HL were more than generous with the give aways. Many folks went home tickled pink with what they had won. Bill was going strong when the Tampa bus pulled out.

John, it would be great if there were 600 at the Atlanta Regional tomorrow, but Bill will be signing forever!

Thanks also to Terry and John at The Bronze Lady who invited us over after the event and gave us great nourishment.

If they expect 600+ at Atlanta, they better make arrangements to get Bill a chair or stool with wheels. It's going to take hours and hours of signing. Get the black coffee ready!

I too had a wonderful time at the Orlando Signing. I also want to say a big THANK YOU to John and Terry for the nice spread they prepared for us at "The Bronze Lady." I'm just sorry I didn't get to met Joanne. Also Want to thank Nana for providing Cookies.

My family & I also enjoyed the Orlando event very much. I came with my wife and 3 year old son. He enjoyed the bingo and the chocolate chip cookies that someone was so generous to provide.

I get a kick out of seeing all of the different pieces people bring for Bill to sign....so many HLs in one place!

Thanks again for all involved for making this happen.

Tim
