Every year a beautiful picture with the moon in it is chosen for the annual Moonshine Calendar. This is spectacular award winning calendar printed on reflective Mylar film with a technique that allows the water and sky to take on a natural quality. Beneath the photo is a grid section that shows the daily phase of the moon. The entire 365 day calendar has a dazzling effect. I have enjoyed this calendar for the last three years.
The photo chosen for the 2001 calendar is Moonrise at Point Montara Lighthouse on the coast of California taken by photographer Larry Carver. It is a beautiful photo of the lighthouse with the full moon nearby. I am excited to be able to display this in my cubicle at work next year. It will go nicely with the other lighthouse photos in my cubicle. People will think I planned this.
