I will be there for sure. Our club is looking forward to being there and seeing many other Harbour Light wackos there. We hear some may come from as far away as NC, IN, GA, AL and one is coming from CA.

I won't be at this regional, but I ask this question in anticipation of future ones that I will be able to attend:
Am I understanding the HL web site correctly in thinking that you must purchase the regional event piece to be admitted to the event? (Or to say it the other way around, can I attend a regional event if I do not want to purchase the event piece?)

I just went into the webpage for the Florida Regional Event and I don't think I've ever seen Bill Younger without a lighthouse tie.

I'm going to call the hotel to find out about parking arrangements. Last year, I got stuck paying $9.00 for parking and then I found out it was free for those attending the event. I'll post what I find out.

As far as vouchers, the last regional event also said there would be a voucher and when I asked my dealer for it, she said there was no voucher.

This hotel does not charge for parking.

Participating dealers will give you a voucher for each limited edition or GLOW Harbour Lights item you choose to purchase. Be sure to ask your dealer for this voucher for each qualifying piece you purchase.

This voucher will serve as the 'admittance' for you and your family to the Regional Event which that dealer is supporting. Only one voucher is needed for a family.

At the event, if you place this voucher in the box, it will be your entry into a drawing for a special Cape St. George FL. Four of these will be given away at each regional so the total will be 16. You must be present to win.

You need to call Harbour Lights to tell how many will be attending once you have your voucher. 800-365-1219.

Florida dealers should have their Cape St. George FL lighthouses in stock now.

Sean, your friend and his family would not have to buy a HL piece, they can go along with you.

I'll be going with my wife and two children. This will be the second time the kids get to meet Bill. My son has been collecting several of the Little Lights of Mine and wants to get them signed. It’s a relatively short 4-hour drive from Jupiter to Tampa.

I hope to meet some of you there.

I forgot you arre supposed to get a voucher with every purchased LE or GLOW. I had already received my voucher with the event piece. But I was so lucky today!!! My hubby picked up an "early" Mother's Day present ....a Fresnel Lens!!!!!! That should count as a LE, right? I will go tomorrow (today) and see if they will give me a voucheer!

Hope to see some of you in Tampa. We are planning to go on down to Boca Grande and visit those lights while on this litle trip but the weather doesn't look to good for this weekend.

That's great that you're going to wear your yellow shirt - who knows, you might actually meet up with someone who could join our club if they're on the west coast. We'll probably have a mixture of shirts at Anaheim as the blue color isn't made anymore and now Susie is trying out a new red color.

The FLORIDA REGIONAL was a BLAST!!!!!

The Tampa Bay club members were out in big numbers and a big Thank You goes to all of them for staying at the various tables for club, Anclote Relight the Light, the registration table etc. Lots of "Little Lights" were won during Bingo games...and since there was a patio area to the hotel, we had lots of room to stretch out and talk with other collectors....

Wish all of you could have been there....

Mike and Nettie Hancock, Jack Wilson and his family,(his son won two "Little Lights" and he was so thrilled) and about 350 other collectors, dealers and reps..everyone had fun and there were lots of great giveaways, raffles, and the drawing for the 5 special Cape St. George pieces.

Hope some of the photos that were taken will end up here. Lots were taken...

Looks like Tampa Regional was fun! Will there be bingo at the Navy Pier? Can't wait for the Great Lakes Regional in June in Chicagoland !

Seems to me I heard that Bingo will be played at all the Regionals. Seems like it is an enjoyed activity.

The two society pieces for next year that were on display, Coney Island and Cold Spring Harbor are VERY NICE....detail looked good....can hardly wait to send in my 2002 society fee.
