We got our Harbour Lights Legacy in the mail today.
This last issue is even more special to us in that it has photos of Bill with our new Colorado Lighthouse Collector's Society.

The last Legacy, ...kind of a sad thought. Another piece of history gone to cut costs.

The tribe has spoken...

You're right, Bob.

It's very sad. But there's nothing we can do. The almighty dollar has spoken once again.

Despite the wonderful Spring weather, mine came yesterday Mel. I guess those guys at the Denver post office take longer to read your copy than do the guys down here in the Springs. wink

Haven't received this one yet. Somehow I moved from the middle arrival to no arrival to late arrival list. The last one arrived really late and the previous one not at all. I called HL to request a copy of the one I hadn't received, including enclosures. They sent it but no enclosures, along with another copy of the issue I'd just received. Maybe it's best it just goes away?

The "Lighthouse Legacy", which sadly is now a real legacy, has also arrived in Pennsylvania.

I will miss recieving these, but change isn't always a bad thing either.....

My final Legacy arrived yesterday. They did a great job on their final edition. I still feel bad the Legacy will no longer be mailed to us. I will especially miss the great pics of the new HL's just before they were released.

Also still not here in Chesapeake, Virginia. As I said, I get mine way after the rest of you get your copy.

Got mine yesterday and was a little disappointed in the fact that as a last issue it contained even less information then previous issues. It will be missed though. I don't think an email will take it's place.

Well Folks,

I finally received my copy of the Legacy today. To tell you the truth, I was more than a tad disappointed. Instead of going out with a bang like the Fourth of July fireworks, it just seemed to sputter and die like an old candle. Oh well.....

I don't think they were trying to go out with a bang. I agree though, I was hoping for a little more out of this issue. It left me with an empty feeling. I think HL was just trying to get the last hard copy out so they could go to the internet version and be done with it. To be honest with you though, I'm all for whatever keeps them producing more lights. That's my biggest concern.
