I'm in Portland and it is looking like we should have very nice weather. Our poor southern contingent hopefully will bring their parkas (or may have to head to LL Bean), but the weather is really quite nice. 50's today, but then 60's and mostly sunny.

More great photos, Paul. Love the first shot of the leaves!!! Also enjoyed the covered bridges. Doesn't look like the fall color has peaked yet?

I recognize the two photos above Don and Sue. This is the HQ building for Harbour Lights and the adjacent mill pond. Beautiful setting.

I had already started out Monday on the way to the Regional when a family situation forced a change in plans.

After making a couple of sales calls on clients Monday and Tuesday, I returned home on Wednesday and will not be able to join the gang in Portland.

I was able to pre-sign the bookplates for the Official Collectors Guide and get those to Paul in Portland.

I donated a very special Harbour Lights to be auctioned tonight by Bill:

#1/500 Bailey's Harbor WI 2004 Regional Event Exclusive. The overall production quantity was 500 pairs. Those that were sold to dinner attendees were "Hand-touched by Kim" - who did some repainting on those pieces. This was also the first regional event piece that was numbered.

According the Collectors Guide, the Bailey's Harbor piece is among the dozen rarest Harbour Lights. 100% of proceeds from the auction will go to the "Bill Younger Screwpile" fund at Thomas Point Lighthouse. There is a reserve price on the piece.

Sorry to have to miss this event...

I heard that the #1 Bailey's Harbor WI was won by GebbyK with a high bid of $400. Thanks Ken!

Ken was the very lucky winner of the gold Bailey's Harbor at the 2004 Regional event!

Congrats also to Carolyn Carbone! Now Carolyn, is this YOURS? Or is Frank trying to claim it?

We missed you John, did get the book, have not had a chance to read it yet, too busy enjoying the weekend!
Dave did a great job as usual. Saturday boat trip and dinner were great. Sunday Boat trip was terrific, could not have asked for better weather!
Thanks for posting pictures Paul.

Just the beginning of a fabulous trip! Paul captured it all for all the Wackos. We had such a fantastic time and missed all of those who couldn't be there - especially John! The new Collectors Guide is just wonderful!

Congrats to Carolyn and Ken on such great acquisitions! I think it's terrific that Ken now has the gold and #1 LE of a very rare HL piece!

I was just looking at Paul's pics again, especially the pic of Sue Brady with Don Devine. Looking at Don and knowing his name made me think of the old cowboy actor, Andy Devine. I think Don looks a wee bit like Andy. Any relation?

I love the fall shots. Sometime I would like to photograph some covered bridges. I tried ISO 1600 for the evening shots at Spring Point Ledge. Still going through my photos. Hope to finish in a day or two.
