You need to order the event piece BEFORE the event from one of these sponsoring dealers. You can't lose going to a Regional Event. Just read the posts others have made concerning the great times they have had meeting other collectors and enjoying the wonderful HL hospitality.

We seem to have lots of people looking for buttons, but no one going to the Regional. If you will all chip in, I will fly out and pick up buttons for everyone.

Let's see, now... about $500 in expense 5 ways... if each of you will wire me $100 I should be able to do it.

I plan to go to the event - haven't been to a regional before, so don't know how it works. Do they just give you as many buttons as you want? What else goes on?

A Regional provides Bill the opportunity to meet many collectors, sign many HLs and share his knowledge, humor and secrets with all! As a collector, it will give you the opportunity to meet other collectors, dealers, reps and have a great time.

We'll all be looking forward to your report when you return from the Regional.

Dixie, typically you will receive a ticket (for drawings during the event for HL merchandise), a license plate holder, and a button. Do try to attend as it is a lot of fun and a great time to meet many other HL collectors.

Anybody home yet from visiting the Portland Regional?? Let's hear what went on, please.

It was very nice. I would say that about 100 people were there over the 2 hours. They had lighthouse Bingo - I didn't win anything, but my friend won 2 Little Lights. They played lots of games and had 3 winners per game. Had drawings every 1/2 hour giving away LEs - the grand finale was Lady Liberty. Bill & Nancy were there and Bill signed and signed. It was quite enjoyable. I didn't pick up any extra buttons - we each got one. There was a bag of buttons on the table as we went out, but I wasn't sure if we were supposed to take extras, so we didn't.
