It's on my schedule. Will there be new 2003 Connected Collector badges out by then? Is Dave doing them again this year? My lanyard is just waiting for a new badge.

We definitely won't be making this one. We are having a week long celebration for my Mother's 85th Birthday from 4-17 to 4-23.
And yes I know it's the week before, but I ran this concept past Esther and got a not very nice look, so I just moved on.

Thought I would bring this topic to the top. Anyone heard any more information about Jax Regional? Where are most staying, what will it consist of, pre and post outings? This would be my first Regional so I'm trying to get as much info as posible. Thanks.

Has anyone heard of any plans in the works for local lighthouseing while in the area for this weekend? I recall that BonnieJean was going to try and work out some things for us, but haven't heard a pep out of her for some time now. Is anyone else working on this????? Shortcake

We are flying in on Friday night and out on Sunday morning so the only lighthousing the Bradys will be doing on this trip will be the Harbour Lights variety...

Shortcake, I talked with BonnieJean, about the regional at the last TBHLCC meeting in February. She was still working on the trip to Amelia and the two lights in Mayport. She has out of town and been pretty much incommunicado for about a month. Maybe we’ll hear from her in about a week or so.

We will be Florida bound on Friday the 25th. Yeah Our flight leaves Sunday late afternoon so we hope to see a few lighthouses around the area before we leave.

Hello Everyone!!! I, of course, will be there! I, with the help of Shortcake, will again represent the Cedar Key/Seahorse Key Lighthouse and the Florida Lighthouse Association. In response to extra Lighthousing Events - please check out April 25th Lighthousing for a special Amelia Island Lighthouse Open House. See you all there! :p

I'll be there assuming I get back from sea trials on a Navy ship that just finished a maintenance period. Should be back in mid-morning on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

If anyone at the Florida Regional wants to order a Wacko Pin to benefit Bodie Island, have them go to our website and order using PayPal so I can add them to the list. I prefer they order through PayPal but if a problem have them email me by noon on Monday morning.
Wish I could be there with you guys. Have a great time.

Darlene, I printed out a copy of the webpage to have out at our table for collectors to see and read about the project.. It has the web address on it so folks can see where to go to order, hopefully this will help sell so more pins to reach the minimum needed!

More Wacko's from the Hoosier Lighthousing Club will be there. The Hemming's and McBee's are flying out of Indy tonight and joining the Breen's in Jacksonville. We'll all be staying at the Holiday Inn Express at Exit 101 off I95 in Jacksonville. Can't Wait!!! See you soon. Dave

While we are waiting on Paul’s pictures I will put in a few comment about the regional.
Got back from the regional. Just an hour drive for me this time. I could get spoiled if this happens again. Usually we always make a two-day trip when we go to a regional. This was a very good regional, better than the last southern one. Everyone is in for a treat when it comes your way. More give always. Everyone could play bingo this time. We were all kept busy the whole time. Kim was there, with Bill and Nancy. The regional was held on a community college and had windows on one side looking over a large lake. Nice atmosphere.
Kim nor Bill could tell me anything for the second half. KIM said I would have to come up with a specific light. I asked if the original Hilton head was in the works. She said they plan on making that one years ago but didn’t have the technology then and it just has been forgotten about. Apparently I stirred it up again. Kim was intrigued about us having pictures of it with a eagles nest at it’s top and we are to send them to her. I think with a little more pressure this one could come out in a couple of years with an eagles nest of course. Kim did say an other fressnel lense is coming out.
A Lady asked about the next reunion. Definitely not one this year. Maybe one next year. 2005 would be better yet. Kim said time fly’s too fast for locking in a year. The crowd supported a lady that asked if a cruise would be the next reunion. Kim asked. Wouldn’t that be too expansive? Could you allll (See started to get a southern accent with just being with us one day) afford that? Many collectors shouted out yes.
Paul got a lot of pictures and can fill in everyone on who all won the gold. All I can tell you that Wayne Hawes, the president of the Tampa Bay Harbour Lights Club, and the Florida Lighthouse assoc. Won one.
My eight-year son won the west point and my wife won the Hilton head- guardian of the night. Three of my four children told me they are going to be in the legacy. Check out the next Legacy and see why.
Paul Brady’s wife won a lighthouse. One of the security guards that was on duty won a lighthouse. She was very excited. Bill told her she is hooked now.
DANIEL
