Does anyone know the details of the event listed as:
Sat, Jun 1, 9-4:30pm, Orient Point, NY.
Bill: Long Island Cruise-Cross Sound ferry dock.
I sent an e-mail to Bob Scroope, who's listed with the event, but he's apparently out of town. If it's discussed elsewhere in the CF, I haven't found it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Bruce...
I can't be positive that we're talking about the same thing, but I was given information about a "lighthouse cruise" on the Long Island Sound on June 1 from my wife. Basically, it was a brief article from a local paper and stated that it was leaving from Orient Point and it included a phone number, but no mention of Mr. Younger...
The bad news is that I called about a week ago and was told that the cruise was completely booked. If you find out anything different, please let me know.

Hi. My dad will be out of town for another week or so yet. The June 1st cruise Bill is going to be on is being hosted by East End Lighthouses. I guess then we'll go up to Long Island on Sunday, June 2nd, do some lighthousing on our own, and stop in to see Bill at the in-store event in Merrick that afternoon.

Sorry, Bruce and Jeff, this is a very popular lh cruise and sells out by March each year with 375 enthusiasts aboard. You can call (631) 477-4121 to get you name on the mailing list for next year. I barely got my ticket and I'm bringing Bill- Bob
ps the signing at Limited Edition on Sunday June 2 will have many AP Harbour Lights for purchase. 10 % of sales will be going to the LI lighthouses..
