Always nice to see Bill and Lanny but the Sacto signing this weekend was, for me, kind of a dud...not only did HL print the wrong address for the Willows store having the event (causing some unnecessary driving), but the correct store had next to no new pieces available for purchase...I'm committed to my regular dealer for RELIEF and don't care for the 3 SISTERS so the highlight was seeing the St. Auggy event piece up close and marvelling at the lantern room...from pics, I had thought this piece lit up (but I didn't get one, I have the LE and don't have room for multiples).

Just wanted to update those of you who may waste precious fuel in searching out a couple of CA dealers who NO LONGER carry HLs:

Dolls, Gifts, and More in Danville (still on the dealer list, should be removed)

Willows #2, on Rush River Drive in Sacramento: this store was incorrectly listed as the place where HL held their Sacto event...I haven't verified this but when I walked in on 5/21 and was told that I was in the wrong store, I didn't see/find even 1 piece of HL anything on the shelves...and the lady working there was quite disgusted w/HL for misdirecting attendees.

That lady should have looked at the positive side of the mistake, Rock. HL's error led several potential customers into her store that may not have ever visited it. You can't sell merchandise unless you can get people to come into the store!

I fail to see your point, Bob M...you can't make any sales to lighthouse collectors when there are NO LIGHTHOUSES IN THE STORE!!!!

I don't know too many stores that sell nothing but lighthouse replicas. I know the Lighthouse Depot's inventory is almost entirely made up of lighthouse related items. Most every store I've gone into that sells lighthouse related items has other items that may convince a consumer to reach into his or her wallet.

You can't catch fish without a lure or bait.
