Checking on the welfare of Steve Ervin AKA Digger. He hasn't been seen around these parts in some time.

Anybody know what's going on?

During dinner at Andres in Door County in June, Digger mentioned to the waitress, that his job was "working at underground condos"...anyone know where?

I haven't talk to him lately but from what I understand, there are some people just dying to meet him....

Maybe he is just working the "graveyard shift" for a little extra money.

I finally got hold of Steve by phone today. He was at work -- but 'between vacations'. He said he's been using up vacation time. Been to Michigan and heading for Gettysburg in a week or so.

All's well.

I'M BAAACKKK!!!!! Well, as John stated above for a couple of weeks anyway. Yup, just been running around chasing wolverines and hoosiers. Hit a few festivals, seen some old friends, checked out some rival cemeteries, traveled a small bit, etc.. You might say, I just needed to "disappeared" for awhile!! Next stop Gettysburg. Time to go bug the park rangers some more. They seem to get a little nervous when I tell them my name is "Digger" and I'm lookin' for a battlefield!!!
