My young nephew William Salisbury in St. Petersburg FL will be undergoing the 5th operation for hearing loss on September 2nd.

Hearing in his left ear is about 50% of normal.

The prosthetic 'bone' inserted in his left ear in the last operation has slipped out of place and they will do an adjustment to move it into the correct position.

Most likely he will not need to be hospitalized overnight for the procedure. However this active 7 year old will need to stay 'quiet' and at home for almost two weeks.
