Hi all, and thanks for the birthday wishes. Yep, today's the day. The big four-O. Nice try at the candle, John. Give ya an "A" for effort, anyway. Dave, I'm wondering that myself. I haven't finished paying for my Christmas present from my wife yet. I'll probably get a Coquille LE or something for my birthday. Darn. All I can say is, I hope my kids both get full scholarships, and don't expect anything but HLs as an inheritance. They'll understand. Won't they? ------------------ -Art

Rod, FYI, I've used the following words from your list in the two weeks prior to your posting:
Maxwell Smart, pong (discussing the video game family tree with the kids), Mork, bummer, Mr. Bill (well, I said, "Oh nooo!!"), AMC Pacer, lava lamp (my kid has one), foosball (have one in the room downstairs), bell bottoms, album (showing my age to my kids), pez (cleaning the kid's old dispensers out of a drawer), Grand Funk (heard "Locomotion" on the radio a couple of nights back), black light (kid's room), Klinger (watch M*A*S*H with the kids now), mirror ball (I've seen two within the last three weeks: at a restaurant and at a roller rink), the Knights who say Nih! (watched "The Holy Grail" with the kids a few months ago. We all "Nih" to each other periodically now), 8 track (explaining CD geneology to kids), milk man (Nick at Night, "How to be swell").
It's all coming back now. The kids keep me in touch. Does that make me obsolete, or hip? Hard to tell these days.
