Hi everyone,
It has been some time since I have posted here in the forums and thought it was time that I tell everyone what is new.
The big news and big reason for spending less time in the forums and for changing my HL purchasing habits.....TWINS!!!!
MY wife Marla and I are expecting twins come June 13th. It has been a very emotional time as we had been trying for quite some time. Now that our dreams are coming true, we are very busy preparing our home for the two new arrivals. At first, 9 months seemed like a long time, but the due date will be here before we know it and there is still much to do.
We are being blessed by a boy and a girl and have chosen Emily and Ethan as their names. We have had several ultrasounds and it is just amazing to see both children growing like that. as of the 3rd, Emily weighs 2 pounds 1 ounce and Ethan 1 pound 15 ounces. Marla is doing well, having the aches and pains associated with pregnancy, but she is healthy.
I just wanted all my family here to know what was going on, to say that I miss being a regular visitor/contributor here and that I would like to say thank you to all of you for making this such an enjoyable place to visit over the years.

Congratulations, Todd & Marla! I'm sure you both are excited. Glad that Marla is doing well. We'll forgive you not joining us at the regional event, given these great circumstances. Hang in there, and be sure and share pictures with us when Emily and Ethan arrive. Dave

Congrats Todd and Marla!!!!!!!! Being the parents of twins we know what Todd and Marla are going go through. It is a life changing event. It is also a wonderful time. Yes, rest for Marla now will help but in the future you will have sleepless nights. It is a fun and busy time but take the time to enjoy it. Our twins are now 26 years old so we can say you do live through twins. Keep us posted. Mary and Jeff

Todd sent me an email that I don't think he will mind me sharing at least part of it with everyone including a very special image!! Emily Cecelia and Ethan Michael were born on May 19th. Emily was first at 10:03pm followed by Ethan at 10:48. Emily weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces and was 17 3/4 inches long. Ethan weighed 6 pounds 1 ounce and was 19 inches long.

Looks like June 13th came a little early!
Thanks for posting Todd's photo Paul. The babies look adorable and I'm sure Mom and Dad are very proud parents.
If they came early they still had very acceptable weights. My kids weighed just about the same and I had them 3 1/2 years apart.

Todd and Marla, Congratulations on the arrival of your precious little ones. Now the sleepless nights and also the fun begins. Just remember what one twin doesn't think of the other one will. We know having been there a long time ago. Also realize that they will be able to look at each other and know what the other one is thinking many times.
