A Very Sunny Merry Christmas to all you Snow Bunnies. Those of us stuck down here in Fla. with 68 degree Weather really wish we could have some of your Weather. We went to Ponce Inlet yesterday and were disappointed it wasn't covered with snow, (HA ! HA !)_
Seriouly. Happy Holidays to all fellow Lighthouse Lovers.

Here in St. Louis we are "enjoying" one of the worst winters we have had in years (and it is only December!!). Several times these past 2 weeks I have closed my eyes and imagined myself at the beach. I swear that I actually smelled the salt water, felt the sand between my toes and heard the surf! Then I opened my eyes and was back at work (humbug). Oh well, they were great 30 second vacations while they lasted!

Hey Chris. I went down to the beach today with my dog. Alex (yellow Lab)enjoyed romping in the surf, but it was a little too chilly to give up my shoes walking in the sand. Nice and sunny though. The real thing really beats the 30 second closed eyes variety.

You know it's not nice to brag about the nice weather you are having when all of these other fine people are trying to dig out just to make it to work everyday. You sure won't find me bragging about how nice it is here in sunny Arizona...and being retired I don't have to brave the morning and afternoon traffic... oops...Sorry!!

It was sunny on Christmas day in Madison, Wisconsin and perfect for viewing the partial solar eclipse!
