I am passing along to the Forum the death of Suzanne Murphy's mother. She passed away this afternoon. It was somewhat forth coming, but it still is always a shock when this happens, and I am sending additional thoughts and prayers to her and her family.

Sorry to hear about Suzanne's mother's passing. It's always hard to loose a loved one, no matter if it's a long time coming or quick.

Suzanne you are in our thoughts. Best of Luck to you in this time of heartache and loss. Even though we will never rank as high as blood, you still have your family here and we're worried about you.

Collector Forum lighthouse people are so wonderful! I was just surprised by the delivery of a large beautiful mixed plant/carnation arrangement in a wonderful basket from my Forum Family. It is beautiful! Thank you for this and for all your kind words at the time of the loss of my mother and my son’s grandmother, his last grandparent.

My mother had a stroke in October and her health went downhill from there. She was in a comatose state for the last two weeks. We had to put her in hospice care. We knew it was only a matter of time, but it was still difficult when the time came for her to leave us.

Yesterday, I went through photos looking for pictures of her in better times in order to put together a collage of photos of her life for the funeral service on Saturday. In a way it made me feel comforted by the fact that she had a good life and that she now has found peace.

Once again thank you for the plant/carnation arrangement and thank you for your kind words of comfort.

I took the planter that you sent to me to work so that I can enjoy it there (where I am most of the time). It has received rave reviews! Everyone at work has stopped in their tracks when walking past my cubicle and have made great comments about it and asked where I got it.

My co-workers now know what wonderful people there are at this Lighthouse forum! They were very impressed! They always knew I was a lighthouse wacko, but now they know that Lighthouse forum folk are wonderful caring people!
