First and foremost Larry and I would like to thank everyon for their wonderful prayers and encouraging words during a very scary time for us. Saw the bone tumor specialist today and he was as delighted to tell us as we were to hear that the tumor on my right ankle was benign!!! Talk about an answer to prayer and feeling like a weight was removed from your shoulders! I feel renewed, recharged,...even reborn. It is an indescribable sensation when a doctor says the big "C" word....and as long as I have worked in the health profession it was still a difficult possibilty to face. But through the grace of God and the love of special people like yourself my prayers were heard. THANKYOU....for all the e-cards, the phone calls, and all the encouragement through the forum...GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

Wonderful news, KAT. I imagine the wait for the confirmation was among the toughest of days. Now it's time to celebrate. Go buy yourself any HL you want and tell the Doc to put it on the medical insurance as recovery therapy.

Absolutely wonderful news, Kat! The prayers were truely answered. In the span of 3 recent months, I have had 2 different very close friends tell me that they both have lung cancer. It is the first time I have been personally exposed to the helplessness that it entails. I am so very happy that you will not have to go through that also. Sounds like it is MAJOR party time!

Wonderful news Kat! A new HL would definitely be prescribed for recovery and to commemorate the happy occasion.
I know being in the health care field that you can know too much & expect the worst. So nice to hear good health news!
