Many of you know Sidd, a past regular who hasn't been on these frums much lately. She is having some hard times.

Her husband wiped out the bank accounts and split leaving their two sons, ages 6 & 8 with Cindy. Cindy also worked for his business, so she's out of a job.

She has a long list of Harbour Lights which she would like to sell as a group -- or as several different groups. I have her list and will post it in the Marketplace tomorrow am. If you're looking to catch up on some or fill in holes, you can help Cindy and yourself at the same time.

[I asked her if she'd minded my posting her situation here so we can focus on her needs in our prayers and she was glad to have me do it.]

Dale has suggested that we should encourage everyone to purchase at least one of Cindy's lighthouses to help her through this time. Surely there's one you could put away for a surprise gift for someone?

I personally have asked to buy From Cindy sanibel and cape canaveral. I plan to pay her more than current market price. I don't know Cindy nor have I seen a post from her. I don't know what brought about this situation and I don't need to. I have great admiration for her. Here is a fellow wacko with a serious need. She did not come looking for a hand out. She found a way to take care of herself. When faced with a tragic situation, things get put into proper perspective. She has a family to take care of and is doing what she can to do just that. I don't think it would hurt any of us to buy one of her lights instead of from a dealer or off of e-bay. Most of us can afford $10 to $20 above what we would have paid anyway. Why not help a deserving individual in this way.

It may be a financial streatch, I know it will be for me, but what better use of my HL funds than to help someone in a situation like this. Come on everyone do what you can.

I had a nice long talk with SIDD today and she asked me to pass on her profound thanks for all the help and email she is getting from fellow WACKOs.

She will be updating her list of remaining Harbour Ligts in the next day or so but said that the sales she's made so far have enabled her to hire a lawyer and get temporary custody of her boys, Morgan 8, and Matthew 6.

Dave Hannum brought this up to me and I think it would be great if we could help assure a Merry Christmas for Cindy and the boys.

Both boys are into Pokemon cards & characters and Toy Story items. Both boys like art, coloring books, art paper and supplies.

Matthew likes Matchbox cars, while Morgan likes Playstation. (While Playstation games are typically $40-$60, there are player guides and magazines in the $5-$12 range). A simple gift certificate from Toys-R-Us for any amount would be great.

Morgan wears size 14 shirt and 14 pants. Matthew wears size 10 shirt and 8 pants.

[I practically had to twist Cindy's arm to get this info out of her. She says we've already done so much already.] If you haven't had a chance to buy one of her lighthouses, a little $5-$10 gift and card would brighten their Holiday.

"The good news is I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!! It is a 3rd shift receiving supervisor for a fortune 500 company.
