You got water now John. I know this road. Was it rain or a waterpipe John?

Everytime I try to play a video in my browser, it locks up my PC. I need to see the Data Doctor or the Geek Squad.

I didn't see the video you linked to; I did see the rain downpour we had for several hours during the day yesterday. I think it came right over our house. The video they showed on NBC News last night was about 3 miles from me.

Lots of lightning strikes too.

But it was fun while it lasted. The grass is certainly greener today.

Bob, that's why we have the "stupid motorist law"... :rolleyes: idiots like this try to cross the road even with signs up saying it is closed when flooded. Here is what happened to them...

people like that are also the ones who will get mad at you when you are blocking the road to keep them from trying to go though. They don't realize that you are only trying to keep them from harm and that it may look okay but it only takes a couple of inches of water after a hard rain to wash you away.

"Stupid Motorists Law" is the right name for it. One of the penalties is they must reimburse the police/fire/resuce for their own rescue costs.

These people drove around barriers to go through the water. Dumb, dumber, and dumbest.

The sad part is that alot of people do not notice or see what the Police/Fire/Rescue do for the community. I have been on our Rescue Squad for 11 years. Most of the time when we have to go out is in the middle of the night. When everyone else is heading for cover we are out, away from our families. Rescuing people like these fools, cutting up fallen trees during an ice storm, damage control and cleanup during and after a tornado, just to mention a few things we do. I do not get paid to do this and don't expect to get paid. All we ask is that people appreciate what we do, instead of saying we don't do anything, just because they don't see us doing our job.
