June 13th was Patrick's 18th birthday! Between graduation, his Eagle Project, my work, and getting ready to go to Chicago, I didn't get a chance to get to the store and get him a card or a present. You see, he was always borrowing my car. Anyway, I really am proud of him and wish him a wonderful birthday. I did get him an e-card.

His WISH list includes a new Toyota Prius (Hybrid Car), trip to California, four years of tuition paid for college. He just got a brand new Dell computer for graduation. I think this all has something to do with why I don't have a present yet.
Although, a new HL lighthouse might be nice. Oh yea thats what I want.

A Happy Birthday to you Patrick! I'll meet you tomorrow when you drop your mom off for the trip to Chicago.
This is my gift to you....taking your mom out of town so you can have the car even LONGER!
I'm also driving to CA next month, but don't know if you want to go with a couple of "old ladies". Another friend of mine and I are going to deliver a car to another HL collector.

Actually, Patrick said if you are talking expensive cars he would rather have a Mercedes or a BMW. But, if you are talking practicality, then the low emissions, high fuel mileage Toyota Prius would be just fine.
I took him out for dinner at Timberlodge. He ordered a 22 oz. Porterhouse Steak. I think that will keep him happy until I get back from Chicago!
