...Yep the WACKO Webmaster is rolling the life odometer over to one of those signifcant birthdays on July 11. I'm not saying which one it is, but the number can be evenly divided by.... 1  and 2 and 5 and 10 and... maybe some other numbers too   So how old do you THINK I'm going to be?

Maybe. Here's another couple of hints... My upcoming age can be evenly divided by the first four numbers in the Fibonacci series And they weren't making Chevrolets when I was born... ...or Fords, either.

Happy Birthday John! It's nice to have a few members of the forums who are actually older than I am! I'm sure that even though you're adding another year you must feel much younger than you did last year at this time with the weight loss. As for guessing I'll go along with Paul, unless you are using one of your special calendars???

Reasoning for above- fibbonacci would leave us with 30 (too young), 60 ( BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!! ), 90 (too old), 120 (WAYY TOO OLD!!) and so on with multiples of 30. However, you said fords were not around when you were born. If we all remember, Ford turns 100 this year. That means that the next age older than 90 that is pre-ford is 120, and that is too old, that is a false statement. (Yes, I know I am a smarty-pants. ) So, now I let the cat out of the bag-60!!! Happy Birthday John!!! Let's go for 60 more!!!!!!

I didn't say Chevrolet and Ford were "not around". I said they weren't making them when I was born. 1943 was a year WW2 was underway and for the duration you couldn't get a private passenger car from any of the automakers. They were busy building Jeeps, trucks, tanks, and aircraft in that year those years. So yes, I'm either going to be 60 or 120 tomorrow. Now I'd REALLY be a "Saint" if I was born 120 years ago! Thanks for the good wishes, everyone. I'm feeling much younger these days. Dave - I think you need to bake a THIRD cake for all those candles.

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes. As you reach these milestones, your mind works in strange ways. I was watching the news today and a story about some guy who was sentenced to life in prison for murder which in SC meant he could be out in 30 years. Instead of thinking about whether I'd live that long to serve 30 years, I was thinking how old would I have been if I was just now getting out of prison after 30 years. (Easy math for this old mind.) Guess you have to look at things positively.
