Happy New Year Everyone! If you've not got plans to be out in the maddening crowd and will be at home this evening before Dick Clark drops his ball, stop by the Harbour Lights chat room about 9 PM ET and make a wish for the new year. www.HarbourLights.com/chat.htm

I have to admit, I'm glad to see the end of 2003. It has been quite a difficult year. A few "ups" (my lighthouse photography trip to Maine!) and lots of "downs." Looking forward to much better things in 2004. Happy New Year to all the Wackos, and the rest of the Harbour Lights family! Be safe, and make sure to designate a driver if you are planning to partake in "adult" beverages.

Happy New Year everyone!
I started out on a tear yesterday by making I.O. go through his clothes and we managed to fill 5 garbage bags. I got rid of some kitchen stuff. Today we made a stop at the Rescue Mission drop-off center then went to Walmart to replace the old pans I tossed.

Does the I.O. have any clothes left, or has Mombo-land gone clothing optional?

I'm on the same plan as Mombo and Ruthie. I started yesterday with the Christmas clean-up. As I was putting things a way I realized I had boxes of Christmas decorations that I never use. Those boxes, as well as a fake tree, are heading for the goodwill. Today I started with all the extra boxed Christmas treats and food that we are not eating. I figured the homeless shelter would love all the candies and cookies rather than throw them away. The first of next week starts the closet clean-out. I'm tired of all the clothes crammed into my closet that I don't wear. What a way to start the new year.
