Let's all wish Fred a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY for 12/12. Those of you who would like to send him a card I have his address here. Maybe send a card for his birthday or a Christmas card or a combination Christmas and Birthday wishes. He is one great guy and it would be wonderful to see how many cards we can send to him.

I'll second Ruthie's plan. Please take a minute to buy and send (or make) a birthday card for Fred.
I talked to Fred about a week ago and the move to an assisted living home has given him a great boost and seems to have helped his health.
(He is looking into changing to a different home after the first of the year, he tells me.)
Even if you've never met Fred, he's a fellow lighthouse enthusiast and Harbour Lights collector (big time.)
Our Spring event in Virginia Beach coincides with a plan for Fred to be in the area and he's looking forward to joining us there.

Spoke with Fred for a while this evening. He is already planning his trip east for next spring/summer, and is planning on seeing folks in Norfolk in June.
