Congratulations to my daughter Eileen Kenworthy and her fiancee Ed Thomas. They are now MR & Mrs ED Thomas of Fishkill N.Y. They tied the knot at St. Marys Church Fishkill N.Y. on Dec 10, 2005. After honeymooning in Aruba for a week, they are both back home and back to work--as they say --UNDER PROTEST. They are both members of NELL which had about 30 many members attended wedding and reception. Congratulations kids , Good Luck and God Bless!! Love Dad

Congradulations Tom. Its a good month for a wedding. I was married in Dec. 31 years and still counting

I must say that it was one of the best weddings I have ever attended. Congratulations to Ed & Eileen and best wishes for a wonderful future together!!

Below is a picture (provided by Hilari Seery) of NELL members posing with the bride & groom. First we all posed while still in our dress clothes, ties & jackets, dresses, etc. Then we all surprised Ed & Eileen by changing into our NELL shirts for this picture with the NELL banner.



Proud 'Poppie' Tom can be seen in the second row back on the left just behind NELL President Shirin Pagels (in purple). That's me, next to Tom, with my head turned trying to get a member's attention to fix their shirt collar.

Thank you Fran. Eileen always wanted to get married in Dec. and she did. The weather just before the wedding had us all worried as we got quite a bit of snow as you all know. Thank goodness the forecasters got it right for once with it stopping on Friday.. It had no affect on festivities what so ever. A grand time was had by all.

Congratulations to Ed and Eileen. Those NELL folks are everywhere, aren't they?! Thanks, Ron, a picture is really "worth a thousand words". It's really great when we are able to put names and faces together and such a great idea for all of Ed and Eileen's fellow NELL members to pose as a club.

Hey Ron, I'm glad you had such a good time and thanks for posting the picture and the same to Hilari for supplying it. I'm still "getting my feet wet" navigating around here and there ain't no way I would have been able to figure out how thats done. Not yet any way. Be seeing you at hot chocolate.

Dave - there was no way a NELL shirt of mine would fit over that hair-do for the event without completely messing it up. Not to mention it's cold up here- my t-shirts are packed away for the winter!

I saw Ron's great pictures of the Hawaii trip. My other question about the NELL group is "Does anybody work?!"

Grace, thats a very good question and it gave me a good chuckle when I read it. The only way I can answer that is to say unfortunately yes, BUT we try very hard not to.
