In September of 1997, I was wasn't feeling well and the doctors said I was fine. By January I was seriously ill. I went on the internet and did research on my own. Looking through symptoms and illnesses, I found my own problem and then a specialist to treat it. I have been healthy now for over one and a half years. Use whatever resources you can and don't be afraid to ask questions, even the same ones, over and over.

Lou and Fred can use our continued thoughts and prayers. I talked to Fred briefly this evening. He won't be around our neck of the virtual woods for awhile as he tends to Lou's needs. Lou is in the hospital now undergoing additional tests. The doctors have still not found anything abnormal, although obviously something is wrong. Let's all pray for a fast diagnosis and an even speedier recovery for Lou, and for Fred's strength to hold up.

Sorry to hear that Lou is not well. Thoughts and prayers are with you Lou!!

I hope to hear of your recovery soon.

I spoke with Fred tonight. Lou was hospitalized December 1 and remains there today with no sure diagnosis. Fred says it acts like congestive heart failure, but no Doctor has managed to diagnose the condition that's keeping her on oxygen full time with a feeding tube.

She and Fred need our prayers, of course. If you'd like to send Lou a card:

Fred's birthday is Sunday, the 12th. He's thankful Lou is still here. He only manages to get on line a few minutes to keep relatives back east up-to-date. He says to thank all the 'guys' for their thoughts and prayers.
