In just one day at www.HarbourLights.com, already more believers have come forward out of the shadows to state that THEY have seen them - those illusive little equines of the sea (no relation to Chicken of the Sea). Dave Willets found and reported just where he had seen the seahorses on Cockspur and Roosevelt Island. And now Steve Mehder has filled us in on Sea Girt (as well as confirming Cockspur and Roosevelt sightings.) As we receive reports from collectors, we'll update the list about once a week. For the first person who spots a seahorse on a piece that has not been previously identified, we'll mention your name as the finder (unless you request to remain in the shadows). Sincerely, Harold 'Hip' O'Campus Head Seahorse Spotter USSSA www.harbourlights.com/seahorse.htm

Okay, how about Lorain, Ohio?
First off, get a flashlight and a good magnifying glass. Then locate the side with the staircase that goes down to the water. There is a large vertical crack running down the side of the base. The crack gets wider at the bottom, where it meets the water. The seahorse is loacated on the right side of the inside of the crack.

Thanks John, now you got me started again. Okay, Faulkner's Island.
Find the flag. Find the pound sign (#) on the flag. Travel horizontally 3/4" to the left. There it is, plain as day. And this is one of the old ones, you know, the ones that are well-defined and very traditional looking.

Here's one people have been looking at a lot lately - Gray's Harbor.
Turn it so that the flag is facing away from you. Look at the front door to the tower. You will notice that there is a mound even with the bottom of the door. Look to the left of the door, on the side of the mound that slopes away from you. It's plain as day again.

Okay John, it is after 1:00 am so this is the last one - Horton Point.
Face the flag. Go to the right, around the corner, about 1.5". Look in the middle of the bush at the corner of the tower. Very easy to see.
Good night.
