I am asking for prayers for my Daughter-in-law, Victoria, she is 21.
Her Mother has been ill for several months and has refused to go see a doctor. This woman never leaves her house...... not for anything. She did not go to see her daughter when our granddaughter was born. She would not leave when Hurricane Ivan came to visit even though there was a mandatory evacuation of her neighborhood. She doesn't go shopping, instead she makes a list and sends her husband to buy groceries.
Today Victoria went by her parents house to visit after dropping my son off at work. When she got there her Father wasn't home, her Mother had sent him to the store. When she walked into the house she didn't see her Mother and started calling out for her. Not getting any replies she began looking for Mom. She found her (or what was left of her) in her Mothers bedroom. After sending her husband off to the store she got out her 35 loaded with hollow point bullets, sat on the side of her bed and blew her head off. And Victoria found her. Couldn't have been more than about 10 or 15 mins later.
I'm sure you can understand the state of shock that this poor girl is in right now. I have the baby and will keep her until Victoria can calm down enough to take care of her little daughter. I anticipate that this will be several days maybe even weeks. Please pray with me that this girl can find some ease with her emotions.

Stephanie,
A most tragic situation for Victoria. We will keep Victoria and all of her family in our thoughts and prayers as she works through things.

It's a really tragic thing when something like that happens. It's very hard to understand sometimes the turmoil that is going on inside a person. Our prayers will be with all of you.

How awful for Victoria and all of you. It's very hard to understand why some people choose to live their lives isolated from society. My thoughts are with your family during this terrible tragedy.

Thank You All for your prayers!
Victoria is doing better now. She went back to work yesterday and little Miss Lillie went home with her Mommy and Daddy tonight. Thank Goodness! I had forgotten how much work a baby can be! Haven't had a little one on a full time basis in years.
I know that it may take years for Victoria to fully cope with what she saw that day. But she is doing better then I had exspected.
