I know some of you will think 'so what' but others will understand... Sue and I lost a beloved friend today, Thomas, our 7 year old male cat who died unexpectedly today. Sue found him laying on the floor in front of the fireplace. Thomas was always the picture of health and our welcome wagon ambassador to our home. He loved to welcome everybody to the house. In fact, he would insist that you pet him and pay attention to him.

We have 3 other cats but Thomas was special. By the way his last name isn't Brady it is Point for Thomas Point Lighthouse. His sister, who will miss him also, is named Hattie for Hatteras.

Sue and I lost a friend today! Our home will not be the same..

Sue and I also send our sympathy on your loss of your beloved pet.

We lost our last cat, a Siamese which was our daughter's pet, to a total stop of eating due to an antibiotic which the vet told us to administer for a respiratory infection. Cat lovers be very careful of antibiotics as this loss of all desire to eat can happen!

As you all know, I am all about images..

That is Thomas on the right and his sister Hattie on the left, this image was shot when they were just kittens.. As you can tell they are a couple of lighthouse cats from almost day one..

Sorry to hear that you lost a dear "family" member. You have my sympathies. They do make a house a home and sometimes seem to understand and feel what you are feeling more than humans.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Cats (and dogs and other pets) are very much a part of the family and it is always a sad time to lose one.

Also sorry to hear of your loss. In total agreement with everyone here, once you bring them home, they are part of the family, and provide unconditional love.

Sorry to hear about Thomas, Paul and Sue. Am I correct in thinking that a Siamese cat doesn't live as long as other cats? I've lost a couple more and am down to just one cat now, Sweetie, who adopted me some years back. After having multiple cats over the past 20+ years, one is now enough for me!

Nothing breaks a heart more than the loss of a beloved pet. Loss my cat,Tiffany, 9 years ago. To this day I can feel the saddness in my heart. Remember all the fun times and know that you gave them a wonderful life.

Paul & Sue, we're so so sorry for your loss. A cat person I am, and I still mourn the loss of my beloved companions.

Our empathy with you is fresh, because due to cancer, we had to make the heart wrenching decision to let go of Katie, Paul's eight year-old golden retriever, only a week before our recent trip to Nova Scotia/PEI. During the trip, often I'd see tears in Paul's eyes, and he'd tell me, "I'm having a Katie moment".

Our hearts go out to you and Sue,

Paul & Judy

Sorry this come so late. But we just wanted to say sorry to hear about Thomas!

Hope he is chasing dogs now in cat-heaven!

Words are never right or enough, so we'll send up a little prayer for you Sue and Paul and for the little friend you lost!
