I wrote to Dale Lawrence who had seemed to drop out of site a few weeks ago and received this reply: I have been very ill with Steato Hepatitis. Starting to get better, but has been a tough few weeks. Things are getting busy at the mission as well. 38 work groups form around the country began arriving last week to help us finish building our chapel, a staff cabin, and to do Vacation Bible School programs around the Apache and Navajo reservations. Hope to join you all this week on the chats though. I will probably have to sell some of my collection to pay off the Dr. bills.

Dale... I will be lifting you up in prayer. I will also put this in the form of a prayer request on our radio network to be aired throughout the country (no names given). So sorry to hear of your illness, Dale. Hope the worst is past and you are well on the road to recovery. Looking forward to chatting again with you soon. Try not to sell the HL's. Invite the doc over for a lighthouse consultation and charge him big bucks for the tour!

Dale, you hang in there. Life sometimes knocks us down for a bit but if we are strong in our souls & our hearts we can endure. I'm finding out that this group here, who love the lighthouses are all very caring and giving. My prayers will be with you also. Take care kid.

Sorry to hear that you have been ill, but I'm glad that you are on your way to recovery. I hope that you don't have to sell any of your collection, but they are replaceable and your health isn't.

Thanks for the prayers and all of the well wishes. Things are progressing well with my health. The main thing is I have to watch what I eat and loose another 20 pounds. So far so good. I've lost 30 in the past 5 weeks haven't felt this good in a long time.
I really do appreciate the prayers. I my line of work they are definately needed. Thanks all, you are the best.
