Many of you know Judy Castleberry (Lighthouser) and Paul Graves (Bus Driver Paul). On October 18th, Judy & Paul were married. Paul has been my bus driver (deluxe motor coach operator) on 3 outings - our Maine trip in 2006, our Long Island trip in 2007 and then our Canadian outing last year. Judy was along on the first 2 trips. A friendship developed and grew. Last year on our Canadian trip, Judy and Paul were a couple which was great to see. I have been accused of pimping out my bus driver, but I'm very happy to have been a small contributor to Paul and Judy finding each other and growing their relationship. Paul & I thank you, each & everyone for the heartfelt congrats and good wishes. Dave, thank you for posting our news.
We did this like we do most things, spur of the moment, sorta. In September, we took a vacation back to beautiful Prince Edward Island, and we really wanted to have our wedding there, but getting married in a foreign country just takes a lot more time and paperwork than we had the time to do it in.
Monday, we went to our Town Hall to apply for a license and the staff coaxed us into just going ahead with the ceremony. So, we got married wearing blue jeans with the Town Clerk officiating and the Town Manager as a witness.
Think of it. We missed the music and the cake but we didn't have to worry over planning and what to wear and all that. It worked for us, and the Town Hall folks made it memorable and fun.
Then my groom took me out for dinner, I think so he could have fun telling everyone he had to spend $55.00 on the honeymoon!
So again, we thank you, and wouldn't it be great if we could all get together now and have one big glorious party! Paul Brady, you bake a nice wedding cake!
We are so happy and just want to share our happiness with you.

Rich, Steph is correct. Over the last several years, I've been able to tag along on some very nice trips, including quite a few into different parts of Canada. Often, we go to NYC, and passengers and I are always amazed at how he whips that big coach around the city. We also go to DC frequently and I've been to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Lancaster, PA and oh yeah, multiple trips to Foxwoods in CT with different tour groups.
Paul is taking early retirement the end of this year and will only drive part time after that. He gets many requests, so we'll see, but we're both looking forward to the part-time bit.
Paul says he is already practicing to be an old geiser.
