Are any Wacko's going on this weekend's Rhode Island trip sponsored by the New Jersey Lighthouse Society? I'll have my badge on.

This was posted on the NJLHS website and in the newsletter as well.

Rhode Island Lighthouse Trip
NJLHS is planning a lighthouse trip on July 19 & 20, 2003 to see the lighthouses of Rhode Island at a cost of $100 per person. The following are the tentative activities planned:

Saturday, July 19th

10:00 a. m. Sign in at Warren, R.I. for a 5 hour boat trip on the Narragansett Bay to see approximately 10 lighthouses. A buffet lunch will be served during the trip.

6:00 p. m. Gather for dinner at the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza in Warwick, R.I. Dinner will be served between 7 and 8 p. m. We will also have a guest speaker and auction of lighthouse items.

Sunday, July 20th

10:30 a. m. Leave Point Judith for a boat trip to Block Island where there will be a bus strictly for our group which will take you to the parking lots of both lights for 4 hours on the Island. This bus will run from 11:30 a. m. to 3:30 p. m. You may return to Point Judith at whatever time you would like.

Lodging is on your own but we have lined up special rates at the Crown Plaza in Warwick, but you must let them know that you want the block of rooms being held for NJLHS. If you have any further questions, please contact Betty Smith at 856-546-7810 or e-mail her at bjks313@juno.com. A deposit of $50 per person is required when you place your reservation made out to NJLHS and sent to Betty Smith, 7 Goldfinch Road, Audubon Park, NJ 08106 and the $50 balance is due by May 31, 2003.
