We aren't as young as we use to be and doing certain tests are necessary. Please pray for Jerry on Thursday as he has a colonoscopy done. Right now, the worse part, as some of your know, is not eating and drinking that awful preparatory liquid. A definite, UGH! Pray specifically for a good test result.

To update you all, our daughter moved into a townhouse today. She is doing well but being a single Mom has its challenges and we do appreciate all of your concerns.

Hi Derith;I have spent a great deal of times in hospitals and I know it is no fun.there are times when we have to be there and just can't keep from worrying.I'm sure you know every one is behind you and praying that nothing bad shows up.Good luck and God be with you both.Bill O'Brien

Been there Derith, the worst is the fear, the best is the relief that a good result brings. Sue and I are praying for a good result and that relief that comes along with it.

I've also been there and done that Derith, so know how much apprehension can build up. You certainly have my prayers for a good result. They removed 6 polyps, all benign, from me and told me by having that procedure, I had reduced my chances of having colon cancer by 85%.

Hang in there and think positive.

Derith... Jackie and I will definitely hold Jerry up in prayer tomorrow. I will also put him on our prayer list as well. Here are a few verses that helped me during some tough times...

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

2 Corinthians 12: 9-10

Thank you all for your prayers. The test went well and Jerry is more than ready to eat after two days of liquids. The doctor says everything looked fine. We are all thankful for this good news. God is good!

Derith - I know you and your husband only through occasional reading of your posts - but I DO KNOWN, very personally, what you and he have been going through!
And one of the blessing of this thread, for me, has been the recognition of so many on the forum who share a common faith! Thanks!
God is good - ALL the time!
Keep the faith!
