Yep, Karen's on a roll until Feburary 10 when her odometer passes the "BIG 50" mark.

So here's the next half of your life, Karen. God be with you.

Hope your birthday is a great one!

Not the "BIG FIVE OH!" Oh no. Life will never be the same Karen. Over the hill without ever reachin' the top. It's a heck of a thing.

OK, enough picking on you, especially since five oh is a couple of years behind me. Hope you have a wonderful birthday and all your e-bay sales go off without a hitch.

Happy birthday.

Rich

HB Karen! I always pictured you from your posts as being late 20s - early 30s! Just remember your only as old as you feel and act. So think 30s - it works. You've got plenty of time to grow up, and act your age!

Happy Birthday, Karen. I hope John's wrong in thinking you've already completed the first half of your life. Hope you've got a lot more in you. If the odometer is the problem, sounds like Bob S. knows one of those mechanics that resets 'em.

Happy Birthday Karen.

Aquarians rule!

PS: don't forget to let the "pups" join in the celebration. Maybe a hamburger cake with "Snausages" as candles?

Karen -

Let me know what it is like on the other side of "that age". I am only 2 1/2 years behind you. I want to know if I should do a Jack Benny and stop at 48 or 49.

I'll get you Mr. Chidester Sir for this one!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the birthday wishes. Some of you are a tough crowd, huh Rich. And for your comments Bob S, never ever do I want to grow up and act my age. Rod, you know the pups will definitely join in the celebration cause they won't give us any choice in the matter. Jim, who's Jack Benny, I don't remember that guy! I'll let you know what it's like from the "Other Side" shortly! And who can ever out do the Digger!

Michael and I have enjoyed this thoroughly.

In John's attempt to get my birthday up on the Forum, he missed it by two days guys. Smokey the Bear, Abe Lincoln and I were born on the same day. February 12.

Old Lady Karen

Boomers do rule . . . .

PS - Michael just noticed John that there is an s on the end of Power in the title and it really doesn't need to be there. Picky isn't he! But we know that you understand John.

PSS - Hey, Roseanne Rosannadana can I have one of your "Really OLD Wacko" pins for my birthday?

You know I couldn't remember whether it was Power or Powers. I figured there's two of you so you must be the Powers that be.

What the heck, I had a 50-50 shot at it.

You deserve all the congratulations -- and the ribbings.

Happy Birthday (you and Abe).

Ok John, you are forgiven. You guys are making this birthday great fun. Thanks for all the good wishes.

And Digger, sorry, but you have been outdone. Too, too funny Kat and Larry. Michael and I both laughed out loud.
You've given new depths to ROFLOL!

Thanks guys,

Karen,

"Naner...naner...NANER"!!!

Guess you did take a couple of "hits" on reaching the "BIG 50"...See what happens when you tease your "elder" Aquarian friends? But as Rod said, we Aquarians
"RULE"! Maybe the New Millenium will be the beginning of our long-awaited "Age Of
Aquarius"...

Have you told anyone else which lighthouse you'd REALLY like to have? Is she still in SC; and do you still have "visiting rights"? Michael should at least take you to visit her! (Gee, I hope Dave H. above and others don't get too curious, and ask you WHICH lighhouse--and WHY....we know how you like to talk (right, Mr Chidester?)--you may set a record for the longest post ever!
(Naner...naner...NANER!!!!)

Seriously, Karen, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
And Best Wishes for PEACE, HEALTH, AND
TRUE HAPPINESS, ALWAYS!!
(and..."May God Bless"...)

Larry B.

This is it ! No more of this forty-something when you are asked how old you are. Now you have to say fifty-something. Well let's leave it at an even fifty.
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Happy birthday !!!

Happy Birthday Karen and many, many more!

Did I read John's post correctly? Your odometer at age 50 is rolling from the 1st to the 2nd half of your life? Such negative thought should not be allowed on Birthdays, at age 50 you should be rolling from your 1st to your 2nd THIRD of your life.

As I said, Happy Birthday and many, many, many, many, many, many, many, more!

Polly
