Just wanted to wish all you guys a happy Thanksgiving. The friendships made here are something to be thankful for.
My son got home from college last night, you could imagine how excited his six younger brothers and sisters were. So the holidays have officially started at our house, and you know what, I think I am as excited as the kids. Let me add another HL to that Christmas list.

Thanks for the card, Mombo. By the time this posts (if the server ever lets it) it will really be Thanksgiving. Hope all have a very enjoyable holiday weekend and safe travels wherever you go.

Hope each and everyone of my Fellow Wackos, and all the Saints and Newbies too, had a safe and Happy Thanksgiven. I hope that each of you got to spend this holiday with your family and friends. I bet a few of you even did what I did. My family which lives in N.C. knew that I had to work today and would not be coming home for the first time ever on Thanksgiven. I was able to talk a coworker into covering for me, and I got lucky enough to get on a Usairways flight by going Stand-by, out of Tampa. I had a friend pick me up and drop me off at my grandmother's and was able to suprise my parents when they walked in about an Hour Later.

Great news, Weasel. Sure bet your surprise made for a great fmily gathering. Have a safe trip home.

Weasel, I'm glad that you got to go home for Thanksgiving. But, I'm happiest for your family. I know my holidays were never really complete when my brothers were in the service and could not be home. When they were home, that was gift enough for my mother.
