How is the AB tug 'Toledo'? I have an opportunity to buy one at 1/2 price. I have the four LS, The 'Lori', and the 'Kim'. I am also missing the LE 179 Toledo... about the same cost.

Any comments or obervations?

Thanks!

John

The Anchor Bay Tugboat Toledo is a nice piece. Watch eBay and you may see one appear at less than half price. Just remember to add in shipping costs. The older AB's usually ship for around $12-$15.

Although it is a nice piece, it just isn't as popular as the Lighthships, therefore, it can be had for less.

Apparently you're an AB collector so you might just as well buy the Toledo too.

I have to say that out of the "regular ships" (non-lightship), I like the Toledo Tug the best. It kind of reminds me of the Little Red Tug books I had when I was little. If you look really close you can even see where the smile and eyes would be. laugh I got mine for about $60 (including shipping) from eBay. Just keep looking, you'll find a deal. Especially after the Christmas rush.
