I was at one of my local HL dealers today, and was greatly tempted by a Chesapeake Lightship (101S). They were selling this item for $60.00 including the glass case. The MSRP was $170.00 when it first came out. The dealer also told me she had more in their boxes in the back. I understand that this has been the norm lately; that prices have been drastically reduced. Anyone else been seeing the same thing? Tim - Keeping the flame lit...

I talked to one dealer in N.C. a couple of weeks ago who told me that they were getting ready to drop the AB's 'cause they were so "slow moving". However, she was going to hold on to what they had and wouldn't reduce the price anytime soon. They simply aren't going to order any more of them in the future. At another store (within the same general area) the AB's seem to be holding their own fairly well. Since I own two of them I have mixed-feelings about them being slashed in price. One of mine was purchased at full-retail the other I got at "half price"...so, I can't have it both ways, I guess.

A few of the stores in the Cincinnati area have been selling them at 40-50% off also. Not big sellers I guess. Wish I would have waited before I purchased mine at 20% off.
