You can get them faster, but do you want to pay more? I don't, I have better uses for my money.

I just don't uderstand why my dealer, who had 5, but now has 3 auto ships in the high 300's has not gotten theres yet. Normalyy thay are among the first. They are in a very "Coast Guardy" area and are anxiously awaiting, and couldn't understand the delay. Plus, they never even heard about the white hulls until it was too late. Another lost opportunity.

I got my set #156 on Monday from the fine folks at the GLLKA. They were from the event they had a couple months ago. Beautifully done!

We just have to be patient. I'm sure Harbour Lights would love to have each "Mac" already at the dealers. After all, that's how they make money. They will get here eventually.

I finally broke down and ordered the red hull. I wanted the white hull, but didn't want to miss out on getting the Mackinaw. I was told November before I would get mine. But at least I will get one. Now I will need a display case and name plate for my Eagle and Mackinaw.

Production delays were caused by a misuderstanding in orders at the factory. Initially HL ordered 250 of the white hulled ones, then decided to increase the production run to 500 and placed a second order for 250.

The factory thought this was a duplicate of the first and didn't make them. Since most of the white hulled pieces are sold as matched-number sets with the red hulled ones, the entire order was held up until the balance of the white ones could be completed.

The latest delivery date to Maine is mid-November which, given the time for containers to reach there, makes it seem probable that the pieces are actually on the sea or will be shortly.

GLLKA got an airshipment of a quantity. Apparently they aren't sold out yet.

When you get yours, I'm sure you'll just love it! I've seen a pair of the GLLKA pieces and was very impressed. Think of it as having to wait until Christmas to open your presents, even though you know what you are getting.
