I posted this in the General Forum, but I saw this one so I'll post here as well. I got SkipJack a couple of weeks, actually about a month ago. It looked fine when I got it. However after looking at it and pictures of other SkipJacks mine appears to be missing a "mast cap?!" On purpose or a fault, I don't know. Any ideas on what if anything I need to be doing.

Try to find an A/B advertisement with a picture of the Skipjack (the Nancy?. Does the picture show a mast cap?

No Mast Cap on mine - I've checked some of the catalog sheets for Anchor Bay and see none pictured.

Maybe mastcap isn't the right term I need to be using. The "cap" that I see on the pictures is a little tip thing on the top of the mast. Mine doesn't have it. It's like flat.
