Mike...I'd like to hear YOUR review/opinion. That would be important to me!

I smile can't wait to get mine, too.

Go ahead and review away, Mike. I won't be buying this one, and my local dealer likely won't be stocking it.

That's good news! I called my dealer in Oregon yesterday inquiring about the Nantucket LS. They told me a shipment had arrived from Harbour Lights but it wasn't opened yet. I would hope mine would be shipped next week.

OK I will give it a shot.
This is a bit difficult because I don't have any other lightships to compare this to.
First of all I must admit that the $75 price was the biggest factor in drawing me to buy this piece. It is my first Anchor Bay purchase. I think that for the price in comparison to the other lightships produced by Harbour Lights that this is really worth the money, I like the detail from the American flag to the ladders to life ring and the life boat, even the fog bell towards the bow. It is not as intricate as some of the others, but its simplicity is rather appealing. The most significant improvement on this piece is the water. I love the way they made the water.
Considering the price and the quality, this piece should be included in everyones collection who does not yet have a lightship. I recommend that you go to your dealer and see one in person. You will probably take it home with you.

Great review, Mike! I can't wait to get this one. Probably a few weeks away for me, but I can wait. Glad to know that it's on the way. My dealer was only getting one and they are going to hold it for me. It's my first lightship and I'm anxious.

Waiting anxiously for this one. I really miss the lightships. I'm glad HL did another one instead of a CG Cutter. I've got a glass case waiting for it. Only thing I still need to get for the glass case is the brass nameplate with the serial number. Have to wait for my dealer to get it in and tell me the number.

I finally got a look at the Nantucket Lightship at the Regional in Long Island. I'd give it two-thumbs up! It's a great piece!

It's really nice to have another Lightship added to the Anchor Bay offerings.

I just got off the telephone with Pat out at the Lighthouse Gallery in Winchester Bay, Oregon. She advised me that my Nantucket LS, the Christmas Ornaments, and my 2003 Christmas HL were being shipped this week.

Don't tell anybody, but I told her to put a Nauset GLOW in the box too.

Glad to hear your items are on the way Bob. You're really going to like that Nauset GLOW. It's really well done.

We got ours on Saturday but could not see it very well without power, thanks to Isabel. Flashlights do not give this piece juctice. Now after five days in the dark we can see just how beautiful our new Lightship is #240 has a new and well lit home.

Our Nantucket must have taken a beating from Isabel. It arrived in Northern Ohio with the flag pole in the back and the pole in the front laying inside the ship. Hopefully the replacement will have smoother sailing.

My Nantucket came sailing in today also. VERY WELL DONE! MY first Anchor Bay, but I like it very much. Fortunately no problems. The manager at the store had been on vacation and the help had put it out on display. Fortunate fo me that no one bought it as it was the only one they were getting. It was supposed to be reserved for me, but someone wasn't aware of that. Glad I showed up when I did, or I may have had to wait even longer for another. Whew!

Glad you got the Nantucket okay, Bert. Mine was shipped from Oregon last Friday along with the Christmas HL, Christmas Ornaments, and my first GLOW purchase of the year, Nauset.

I'm expecting them within the next couple of days.

Received my package from my dealer on Tuesday the 7th. The Nantucket LS was in there, #15. It looks great!

I feel good about this one because I pushed for its manufacture for quite some time. Since we have three actual Nantucket Lightships out there, I would predict this piece may be the first Anchor Bay to sell out in quite some time.

Nice job on this one, Harbour Lights!
