I will probably miss it. Somebody send me a note on what's previewed or post it on the forums. Thanks.

My two youngest kids have a Christmas program tonight. so I'll miss the chat. Like Sean I would like someone to email me or post on the forums the details of what the new releases are.

This is one of the reasons that John posts a copy of the chat's log at HarbourLights.com each week... for those who can't come and enjoy the chat first hand...

I can speak from experience that the Chat Logs are a great thing. Sadly, my computer at home always seems to have...problems...with "chats", so I've resigned myself to going in after-the-fact and browsing through the logs. Obviously, it's not my preferred way to receive the information, but it does serve it's purpose.

That said, could I make a small request to John to post a copy of this chat's log just as soon as possible... It sounds like there are a group of us that won't be able to jump into tonight's chat but will be VERY anxious to get all of the details... Thanks.

I don't have time nor the desire to muddle through a chat log. I'm sure a friend will fill me in. If not who cares, I will find out like the rest. It's not like this forum isn't full of redundant information.

imho

Is the photo of the Revised 44' Surfboat of the revision or the current model? It appears to be of the current model.

At tonight's chat Maureen said the revised is the same as the original - just without the crew, glass and base.

Thanks a lot St. John. It was good to come home and boot up the computer and see the pictures of the new releases. The only thing that would have made it a perfect night was if there were a California one like Point Vicente or Point Bonita. The pictures are great. I sure there are a lot of happy forumites tonight.

I'm tickled with Rock of Ages. This is one I never thought we'd see. Looks like an awsome model to. Being a Great Laker, I'm pretty happy about Point Iroquios too!

Monomoy Point, Hendrick's Head and Race Rock! VERY IMPRESSIVE start to 2002! Two Fresnel lenses (We knew about these) but still very impressive. Rock of Ages and Poitn Iroquois round it out. WELL DONE Harbour Lights!

Some nice pieces here starting us off on 2002, however my favorite is Hendericks Head, ME as I can't get enough of this state. The fog signal tower is AWSOME. Great detail! God, do I luv this state!!

I was surprised to see no mentions of any Mid-Atlanitic lights, such as Wolf Trap, VA, Turkey Point, MD, and/or the Indian River Life Saving Station, DE that were mentioned earlier. Perhaps HL wishes for the inticipation by collectors to increase and they will be released in the second half of 2002.

But I am glad to see that OBX got some attention as the old Cape Hatteras GLOW piece was finally resculpted to incorporate the recent move. It looks nice and is a major improvement over the old GLOW, however I hope that in person this is as nice as pictured.
Perhaps this will be the last version of CH produced.

Isn't Maine an awesome State?
I used to live there and I go back every
chance I get and I always "chase lighthouses"
while there!
Does anyone know if Harbor Lights is still
planning to do Owl's Head this year?

YES..Maine is an absolutely awsome state and I hope to be living there with my wife in the very near future!!

In regards to Owls Head, ME, boy this is a busy topic on the forums, I sure hope someone at HLs has the "official" answer as to when it is being released.

I heard a rumor last year, when I questioned its release then, that it was slated for 2003.

Perhaps someone has some updated information (?)

Well, if everything goes right with my grad school thing....then we are looking at the area of York Haven, York Beach around the Cape Neddick area. We love that area. It would be a small jaunt into Durham, NH for lighthouse keeper apprentice classes.

Anywhere in Maine is fine by me, as long as it gets us out of this overcrowded, traffic congested, high cost of living metropolitian area. In a sort, it would be like my own 2002 release!

Oh boy, I can't wait!!! Then maybe someday before I croak, I may have the opportunity to purchase Owls Head light. (But, I doubt it!)

I guess I just have to keep pestering HLs to hurry up and finish the O.H. replica!!

Hey Chris, If you are interested in buying an Owl's Head, what are you planning to do with the rest of the body? Make Soup? LOL!
