I renewed my society membership the first week in May and requested that my Roanoke River piece be shipped to the dealer I have been using. I have since made several calls to the dealer and also e-mailed HL to find out where it is. My last e-mail indicatedit was pending shipment as soon as there was something else to be shipped to the dealer, in order to lower the dealers shipping costs. Has anyone else run into this?

I too ordered it by phone in early May, the day I received my kit, and was told I was the first and it would be at my dealer in a couple of weeks(!)

Ironically, I started to check into my Roanoke River piece just TODAY... I, too, renewed my membership ASAP this year and requested that the RR piece be sent directly to my dealer.

I did the exact same thing (same timing, same dealer, same procedure) last year and my Coney Island was sent out very quickly. This year, I haven't heard anything about Roanoke River yet.

I haven't checked with HL yet, but I have a hunch that I am in the same boat...

No word here in VA from my dealer in FL

Did somebody hijack the ship from China?

I got a 'reminder' letter from H-L to hurry up and order my piece - even including a form to fax to them. I guess they don't need the 'certificate'. I thought, from the tone of the note, that they were 'afraid' they'd run out. Interesting - they haven't shipped yet. I guess I'll wait just a bit as I keep finding oldies I must have first.

Yes I always run into this. My dealer is small and he always tell me I need to wait till the next Harbour light shipment so that it can just be tack on.

I had a message on my machine last night that my pieces were in.

I had to wait until today to get them.

I like the way the Roanoke River Lighthouse looks. I like the boat hanging on the side.

I have a question- is there anyone on Autoship with the number #97?

If you are or know who is please write me off list. I got that number and I'd arrange a trade if the person wanted their number and did not get it.

Hooray

Got the call today my piece has arrived at my dealer. Have to wait till Sat to pick it up.

Picked up my piece and checked it out at the store and it arrived safe and sound. Got #131 my lowest number. As usual the trip resulted in an additional purchase, laugh I got an Absecon Island, had to get this New Jersey light.

Dennis, my number is 94, when I received my first order from Pat, she accidently sent me the #97 pieces. Since then she has been sending the #94's. I think the 97 is open at this time.

Bud,

That's what I thought- especially since John has helped people get their Autoship on other things.

I figured it couldn't hurt to try.

Sounds like they really did start to ship these pieces! I picked up mine yesterday and they are really nice. I have seen them on the dealers shelves, but for the first time last night I got to hold one in my hands! I like the piece very much for all its unique details. (Too bad the current light is in such bad shape!) The boat is a nice touch, but one of my boat "hangers" were broken on one of my pieces. Super Glue fixed it right up! Just another great figurine in a long line of great pieces!
