Anyone else notice that the West Quoddy picture in the 2001 Releases Section of HL's website is captioned:

Harbour Lights Limited Edition #431
Great Lighthouses of the World

Just when I thought I had the LE/GLOW thing figured out!

That sounds like a typo. How can you have one issue be both a LE and aGLOW?Its got to be one or the other.Bill O'Brien oseabee

I guess it's all in how you want to twist it. There is a limited number of each series. A, B, C, Z, AA, ZZ, AAA......

Any info on how many new GLOWs will be introduced this year? Harbour Lights has hit a "home run" with the West Quoddy GLOW. I think collectors who normally don't purchase GLOWs might buy this one. Maybe even you, Tim. (lol)

Not me...VERY disappointed that the long-anticipated remake of the extremely homely LE is a (gasp) GLOW...should've been this year's Xmas piece instead...

I beg to differ...I'm really looking forward to the West Quoddy Glow. I have the original but because it was one of the initial issues by HL it doesn't have the "pazazz"(is that the proper spelling?) of the newer pieces. The fact it has red on it makes a front runner in my book. The next attribute that makes it so desireable to me is the red and white stripes.

I predict even "LE Only Buyers" will spring to have this in their collection even though they may not share it with the world.

Geddouttahere. I pass on even cute knick-knacks, Bob. :-)

I do have two Glows. One is the Tybee Island piece with the Re-Lighting Ceremony label on the bottom and autographed by Bill, Nancy, and Mr. Chambers. (Thank you JC). Can't remember the other one - I think it was a gift.

If HL is really describing Glows as Limited Editions that's an unhappiness. Fwiw - I think the original West Quoddy is a nice piece

And if new collectors feel that way so much for that secondary market.

No GLOWS!

HL isn't describing West Quoddy GLOW as a "Limited Edition". That was my mistake. I corrected it the day of the post above.

Please don't draw any conclusions before you look at the page.

Never fear guys, the typo has been corrected:

"Harbour Lights Open Edition #431
Great Lighthouses of the World"

Don't think HL ever intended to call this GLOW an LE. As to the fate of GLOW's in general, I will leave that to others to decide
