Just wondering if anyone had word on whether or not this piece has shipped yet? If not, anyone know the expected date of shipment?

Just checked with HQ. Not shipped yet, but stills scheduled for this month.

The Lighthouse Deport sent me a card (since I pre-ordered this piece) which states that the piece is back-ordered until mid March.

HQ says today that mid-late February for shipment to stores. And Pharos is still expected to be the first of the 2003 to appear in stores.

If you look to the water under the Colossus guy you will see that the slow boat is under sail and the shipment is on the way!

But...I...want...it...NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There. I'm sure that'll get 'em moving.

It seems like a might long time since the last new HL arrived at my door. My credit card has been gathering dust. Maybe that's a good thing.

I was just looking at Paul's pictures and the animation. I was wondering in the reflector/deflector actually rotates around the signal fire.

Pharos Animation

This is a very impressive piece. What is the weight and dimensions? HL never ceases to amaze me!!

It is 9.5 inches tall and it measures 7 inches across at the widest point of the base... 6 inches across for the most part.

It weighs 2lb 11.2oz...

and a ton of detail!

Unfortunately for my bank account, I beleive I'll be buying this piece. There's just something about it.... Doesn't that sound familiar?

Paul, does it have the traditional flag as well as the "Pharos of Alexandria" plaque?

No flag, just the "Pharos of Alexandria" plaque...

They must be numbering on the label like the Christmas lighthouses.. The AP just has the plain AP label on the bottom felt..

KB tells me the numbering will be on the bottom label for both the Pharos and the Colossus pieces.

Thanks for the info Paul, I think I will have to find a place of honor for this one!

Any updates on the shipping of the Pharos? I'm sure I'm not alone is saying I'm anxious to receive the first new HL of the year.

Any word on what will immediately follow the Pharos piece?
