As the song says,"The best is yet to come so don't go away!", wait until you see Old Point Comfort! It is already in my top 3 all time Harbour Lights favorites after shooting the lighthouse and the closeup images of it for the Harbour Lights website. What a piece of work!

Sue and I visited the real Old Point Comfort last summer and that probably influences me a bit because it is located in a great setting.

Brent, Old Comfort hasn't been shipped from Harbour Lights yet. A reliable source at Harbour Lights says they should start shipping yet this week to their dealers.

Yea, Paul....the Lighthouse Depot informed me that its going to be mid-April, now. I actually ordered OPC in mid-March...expecting a late-March delivery....then they told me it would be the first of April. So...it looks like another couple of weeks or so. Moby.....have you ever attended one of those beautiful Sunrise Services? I'm going to try to make it again this year. We have usually stayed at the Chamberlin but I'm not so sure, this year.

Yes. I love to get there early and watch the Old Point Light go out before dawn fully breaks and the service begins.

As of 4/5/2000 - they are on the way to dealers. Old Point Comfort VA began auto-shipping today.

I picked ours up from the dealer today and would have to agree that this is a very interesting piece. The detail on the open railings, particularly on the steps, must have made this a difficult sculture to produce.
