Got mine on Tuesday. A very nice piece, although I'm still wishing for a Great Lakes Society Gift. Also, the real one can't be seen in it's original form by the general public, which is something we like to do with all our Harbour Lights. Not complaining though.

The UPS man made my day today -- Cold Spring Harbor has arrived in northeast Florida!! Anyone know exactly where this light is in NY? I'll be on Long Island next month for a day of lighthouse hunting/viewing.

Mine came to Jacksonville yesterday. St. Helena on Thursday and Cold Spring Harbor on Friday. It has been a great Harbour Lights week.

I found I had to make one little change to my cold harbor. After looking over closely I didn't want the skiff floating away over nite so I had to put a line from the skiff to one of the mooring rings. Bill O'Brien

Yes, one of the first things I noticed on this piece was the wave action. Better than most!

Hi Elanguy, ...I've already received mine in Massachusetts but I guess the timing is from when you placed your order. My number is high though, #4908. I wish I could get my reserved number on each piece but that just doesn't happen on the specials.

Bob,

I don't think timing has anything to do with the number. Mine is #4973. I placed my order within the opening hour on March 1st. I figure the people who pay for multi-year memberships would be ahead of me in line, but not 4900 of them.

Other than one person I know of, its probably luck of the draw what # you get. Slap a label on a box and put it in the mail.

I also called on March 1st and got a 3 digit piece which is the lowest I've received so far on the freebies.

However, the year we got Baltimore, I ordered later and got a much higher number but when I got my 7 Ft. Knoll and Mini Pt. Fermin I got 2 digit pieces! Go figure.

My Seven Foot Knoll is number 115. I guess it's just the "luck of the draw". You get what you get when you get it.
