I just picked up my latest HL. It is retired, it has an antenna, it is 9" tall and the edition number is 5170. Can you guess which HL it is? Amateurs get out your Greenbook Guide. Masters should know this one from memory if you are a true Harbour Lights Master Collector.

I'd say "Hatteras", Bob.

Neither St. Auggie nor Ponce was ever made with a lightning rod -- I assume that is what Bob means by "antenna". In any case, St. Auggie is not 9" tall. I know from another thread that Bob recently acquired a St., but that is not of what he speaks here.

To the best of my knowledge, only one piece was ever made with a lightning rod that is 9" tall -- Cape Hatteras. My money is on CH2.

Congratulations Bob! (Do I win the piece? )

Those of you who guessed CH-2 are correct. Thanks for correcting me on the antennna vs lightning rod. I was really excited to get this piece and forgot that it is a simulated lightning rod on top and not an antenna.

I scored two major pieces this week. "When it rains, it pours!" I was high bidder on a St. A's on eBay and I'm expecting that piece within a couple of days. What a week! I'm going broke(er)!

The only two LEs I'm missing now are Coquille and Portland Head. I can see an eventual purchase of Portland Head, but Coquille is worth a little more than I can afford.

Thanks for guessing. If you're in the neighborhood, stop buy and see my new pride and joy from the HL world.

Bob,

Congratulations on your two new additions to what must be a wonderful collection. I can't imagine how you display all of them. If I hear of a Portland Head I will let you know. I picked up a Boston Harbor (117)for $125. that should arrive in the mail within days. As far a Coquille River, well that's another story. I know that the GLOW is as close as I'll ever get, unless I find one at a Yard Sale. Have a GREAT DAY!

Congrats Bob. We got a CH2 about a month ago and have a Key West laid away. You are closer to a complete collection than us. We still need Coquille, St. Augustine, St. Simon, Hilton Head and Cape Hatteras 1. I imagine it will be along time before we have Coquille or CH1. If I hear of or see a Portland Head, I will let you know also.
