While at the dealer today picking up my new Society pieces, I noticed a couple boxes on the floor next to the display case. Actually this store *always* has boxes all over the floor! One was the Assategue Glow which I had been anxious to see as I thought it may be one I'd like. After taking it out of the box, which was not easy - multiple trees, tight fit, I decided not to buy it. The other box contained the revised Boston Harbor Glow. That was the one I came home with. It is *very* nice, not extremely fancy, but nice and it said, "Buy me" so I did! Has anyone else seen it, what do you think? Except Tim, *please* Tim, don't voice your opinion, LOL!

Hi Mombo, ... I haven't seen either Assateague or Boston Harbor Glows yet. I do have the LE version of both. I'll still buy the Glows though because they will be great pieces to add to the collection. I have to ask this question: How come you chose Boston Harbor over Assateague? I'm partial to LHs with red on them and would have probably bought Assateague first then my local light, Boston Harbor. Bob

Hi there,
I brought Assateague GLOW home with me. It is one of my southern lights and having been there and loved it, I had to have it. I was very surprised when I first saw it that there are a lot of trees all around it. Derith

Hello Mombo,
I saw the Boston Harbor at the dealer I frequent and I think it's a very nice piece.
As yet I do not have a Massachusett light in my collection and I think this will fit in nicely.
I thought the Assategue was real nice to but since I already have Cape Henry that Virginia light will have to wait for my next east coast "trip"
So many lights.....so little time (and cash).

Mombo, haven't seen Boston yet, but we do have the Assateague GLOW. Love the trees on it - have been there. Not sure we're getting the revised Boston.

I bought the Boston Harbor over the Assatague because:
1. I've been there. Reminds me of that cool windy day I stood at the end of Hull peeking at it through my binoculars. 2. Trees-I can take 'em or leave 'em. 3. Wanted to have a nice Boston Harbor because of what it is - the last manned lighthouse, and the LE is a bit out of my price range.
